Subject: Re: helloOla! I'm so jealous of y'all and having all of these Christmasy stuff. It's just not the same thing here in Brazil. Everyone loves Natal though and it's great because I get to see another side of it, the more important side. That no present or pretty decoration matters compared to the gift from our Father in Heaven, His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Being around members and other missionaries is the best because no one even talks about presents and stuff, only what's really really important. We had conference in Salvador with President and Sister Lisonbee and Sister Lisonbee spoke and mentioned being home sick especially for the newbies during this Christmas season that I only get 2 Christmas's as a missionary. As a representative of Jesus Christ and that it's such a privilege to be able to give someone this message for Christmas. I'm okay though when it comes to missing home haha I'm getting to that line that Elder Oliveira Neto told me about being able to think of home and not get all home sick and depressed so don't hold back on telling me what's going on at home and sending pictures because pictures ,especially, are the best. But anyways....the day before the conference I got registered in Salvador with the other 2 Elders that came with me from the MTC, that day was so much fun and it was pretty bad to have to say goodbye to them again but no worries. I met some cool people at the conference. I met one Elder from Tennessee and it'll be a dream come true if we're ever companions. Speaking of differenct companions, I thought I was getting transfered this last week because Elder Lee did and he said he saw my name on a ticket and so the whole day I was thinking I was getting transfered but it was just a mistake. I didn't like it because I had so many different emotions ha like leaving Jacobina would stink but going to a new area would be really cool too. I'm staying in Jacobina though! I get to spend Christmas with people I know and I get to "kill" Elder Oliveira Neto since it's his last transfer :O So about our investigators, we didn't get that baptism last week that we wanted but this Saturday we're shooting for 2. A mom and his son (Cristina and Lucas) so pray for them! The work is good and I'm learning a lot. Sorry my letters aren't nice and long like Brayden's but just know that I love all of you and I'm praying for you everyday! Until next week! xoxo (:
